Yin Yoga for ALL Levels

Yin is the perfect compliment to your more active and energizing or flowing (Yang) practices. Yin yoga will relax your body to help release the connective tissues to create a counter balance with long, passive holds to work into the deeper connective tissues of the body. (The connective tissues are tendons, ligaments and cartilage, which are the areas that are not usually reached in more active styles of asana practice.) This practice will open up the tissues surrounding the hips, pelvis, and lower spine to create a massage like experience.
