DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR CLASS & HOW DO I RESERVE MY SPOT?

Yes, you need to reserve your spot by pre-registering online at least 10 minutes prior to any of our YF offerings. We do not allow walk-ins to our classes at this time to allow for 6 foot physical distancing in every class to help maintain the health and safety of our teachers and students. Please plan to arrive at least 5 -15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin to allow for time to sign in and get situated

To pre-register for class, visit our schedule on our website. Please note that YogaFresh offers both IN-STUDIO,  LIVESTREAM (online) and PATIO (outdoor) class options for you to join as is denoted in the class title. Pre-registration for all classes will close 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time, so make sure to register in advance. Please select the class you would like to attend to make your reservation and select “Sign Up” as all classes have limited space. You will then be prompted to either sign into your existing YF account using the same email address used on your first visit (for members, package holders or any student that has previously attended a class at YF) or create a new YF account if this will be your first time signing in or joining us at YogaFresh. Make sure that you’re “opted in” to receive any important updates including links for your registration.

Please plan to bring your own yoga mat for class or you can rent a yoga mat from us for $2. We will borrow our quality studio props which include yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters, weights, balls and bands for use in our indoor classes only. You are also welcome to bring your own props from home or can also purchase your own quality props from the YF Boutique as well. Other helpful items include: a towel, reusable water bottle and any props that are specific to your personal practice or class format (such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, balls, bands, straps etc).

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

We recommend moisture-wicking and breathable fabrics that are easy to move in.  Please make sure your clothes are laundered and fresh-smelling. For women we recommend stretchy pants or shorts and a tank top. For men we recommend shorts or trunks and a T shirt. And don’t worry about shoes, yoga is practiced barefoot.

WHAT IS THE STUDIO TEMPERATURE FOR UNHEATED, WARM & HOT CLASSES?

Our studio offers a unique infrared heating system and two specialized Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) systems to improve the overall air quality in our studio to enhance your class experience. Our air purification system will continuously clean and sanitize the air you breathe by eliminating any airborne particulates including harmful bacteria, viruses, mold, and pollen in the air through innovative NPBI technology. Our heating system with infrared technology will heat you up from the inside out and offers you a clean and detoxifying sweat rather than just blowing hot air at you. Many of our classes are heated, so please look closely at the schedule when choosing which class is right for you as each class description lists the class temperature.

Room Temp: 76-78 degrees

Warm: 80-85 degrees

Hot: 90 and above

IS IT SAFE TO DO YOGA IF I HAVE AN INJURY OR MEDICAL CONDITION?

In most cases the answer to that question is yes. In fact yoga is excellent way to support the body in its healing process. However, you will want to inform your doctor or health care provider before you begin your practice, and be sure to let your teacher know what is going on so they can address your specific needs. Some great class options to promote healing and relaxation are: Soma Yoga, Restorative Yoga + Nidra, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Unplug Meditation & HOT Yoga.

I'M PREGNANT. SHOULD I DO YOGA OR BARRE?

Yoga and barre are both great options to support your body and the newly forming body of your child. There are some precautions however, so you will want to let your doctor and your teacher know that you are pregnant (especially if you are in your first trimester). YogaFresh also offers a weekly prenatal/postnatal yoga class which address the specific needs of pregnant woman.
